Technical/Functional Skills
- Candidate must have experience on SAP HEC environment including BTP, S/4 HANA, EHANA, DMS, CPI, AO, BODS, SLT etc.
- Good knowledge on SOLMAN (7.2) configuration and Administration. Charm knowledge is plus.
- HANA Database Administration and Monitoring and Performing database administrative functions within all the SAP environments.
- SLT replication Administration and troubleshooting.
- Managing transports in the landscape including CTS+ configuration and troubleshooting in case any issue.
- Applying system patches; performing system upgrades.
- SSO solution Kerberos for Active Directory Authentication (via SLC), SAML SSO Authentication for Fiori Application etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
- The SAP Basis Administrator (5-8 years of SAP experience) is responsible for the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP systems. Additional responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment, scheduling and executing the SAP transport system, design, and configuration of interfaces between SAP and external systems, optimizing, and analyzing performance issues, and the design architectures of the landscape.
- Responsible for Providing the SAP Basis support for System refreshes of Quality Systems on quarterly basis or as and when required from production environment.
- Accountable for solving trouble tickets raised for issues related to SAP Basis for SAP ECC, SAP FI, SAP BI, SAP Solman, AO, S/4 HANA, SAP GRC, Portal, BOBJ etc.
- Performance Tuning, System Sizing, CCMS and Early watch reports, Setting up alerts for monitoring, background job management.
- Troubleshooting skills including Daily Health Checks, Proactive troubleshooting techniques and Analyzing system logs.
- Support and manage cutover activities, user training, Go Live and Hypercare phases of Implementation and resolving the defect related to SAP Basis area raised after go-live of any project in Client's landscape.
- Introducing technical changes into the environment using the structured approach that minimizes risks and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP instance.
