Responsibilities:

  • Development for Infotainment projects and modules, Android / Linux.
  • Message modifications to communicate with Meter and HUD.
  • Support on current and new Variants.
  • Executions of Test cases and Test scripts from requirements. 
  • Ensure complete requirement & test coverage by mapping with requirements. 
  • Domain specific development and know-how on other interfacing layers.
  • Bench / Vehicle debugging, testing, and troubleshooting. 
  • Requirement analysis with route cause.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios with supporting artifacts like logs, clear issue description, steps to reproduce etc.
  • Maintain the First-time quality and process adherence. 
  • Work with customers, peers, leads and remote teams to ensure successful execution of development activities.
  • Coordinating Development and Validation team to aliments of defect fix.
  • Grooming and support to other team members.
  • Provide quick and reliable solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Productivity Improvement.
  • On time delivery of the tasks/ function.


Requirements:
 

  • BS/BE in Computer Science / Engineering Desired, MS preferred.
  • Experience in software development & verification and validation preferably in Vehicle Infotainment domains. 
  • Experience in understanding system requirement specification, design, test requirement specification and converting them to algorithms & test cases.
  • Development experience on system/functions and/or component testing to cover Blackbox & Whitebox Testing.
  • Ability to do hardware bench setup & Analyze issues and guide team to report in correct way.
  • Andriod & HMI functional development on Vehicle Infotainment applications.
  • Knowledge of simulators & their environment and testing for driver simulation.
  • Knowledge of communication drivers, CAN & ETHERNET.
  • Knowledge of issue reproduction and verification of resolved and fixed issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Development & Testing on Android Platform, and Android Applications.
  • Automation & Linux Programming experience. 
  • Ensure usage of tools for optimization.
  • Preferred:
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC.
  • Amazon Alexa SDK building.
  • Knowledge on HMI development.
  • Middleware Development.
  • Hardware flashing/ infotainment.
  • Automate and execute test scenarios using available automation tool. 
  • Well versed with Infotainment system features like Infotainment systems, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto etc.
  • Software testing.
  • Knowledge of C++, Python, Java, android.
  • Knowledge on IoT.
