In this position, you'll collaborate closely with the CTO to research, design, implement, and manage a highly scalable Sports Analytics Solution. Position Summary: We are looking for a talented and motivated Android Developer responsible for the

development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including mobile

phones and tablets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Android Application Development:

• Design and build applications for the Android platform

• Collaborate with the design and product teams to understand user requirements and translate them into

functional applications.

• Contribute ideas to improve the overall product and development process.

2. Code Quality and Performance:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.

• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality

3.Testing and Debugging:

• Perform thorough testing of applications to identify and fix bugs.

• Ensure the reliability and stability of the applications through unit testing and integration testing.

4.Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android application development.

• Continuously improve development processes and workflows.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the overall product and development

process.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1-5 years of experience in Android development.

• Understanding of Android’s design principles and interface guidelines.

• Experience with Android frameworks such as Room, RecyclerView, etc.

• Sound understanding of background processes, hardware sensors, and native APIs such as Bluetooth,

Camera APIs, etc.

• Strong understanding of application architecture and design patterns.

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

• Knack for benchmarking and optimisation.

• Solid understanding of Android application structuring for various screen sizes and orientations.
