Angular Application Developer

The candidate will develop medium to complex software solutions for a critical C# /SQL Server web-based application used by Underwriting.

Responsibilities include:

1. Analyze and design solutions for both front end and back-end system components.

2. Create new C# Web forms, programs, and reports using the latest Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server. Create SSIS packages, stored procedures, triggers and queries in SQL Server.

3. Testing, review and validation of outputs, documentation and user training.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience – The most important must-have skills. Include:

• Experience creating C# web applications utilizing MVC pattern required.

• 3+ years of advanced experience in developing web-based applications.

• 3+ years of advanced experience working with SQL Server databases.

Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:

• 3+ years with progressively more responsible experience in information technology systems, developing applications and programming techniques required.

• Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) experience required.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning and developing high risk and complex business applications required.

• Experience in developing and executing test scenarios/test case is required.

• Should have good analytical skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:

• Technical experience in AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, and IIS 7.5 is preferred.

• Experience working with BCBSM EDW data warehouse is preferred.

• Knowledge of Healthcare Claims & Membership data is preferred.

• Experience in developing complete (both frontend and database) Microsoft Access applications is a plus.

• Working experience with Agile development methodology is preferred.

Education/Certifications – Include:

• Bachelor’s degree required with a major in computer science /information technology preferred.

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer App Builder certification is preferred.

• MCSA SQL Database Development certification is preferred.
