App Architect

Qualifications:
 

• Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the IT organization's knowledge of and concern for customer requirements
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to create original concepts/theories for a variety of projects
• Project planning and management including scope of work, time estimation, and resource assignment
• Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks
• Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques
• Familiar with project management techniques and development life cycle
• Ability to lead special projects
• Architect must have good coaching skills

• Application modeling skills, UML modeling, and an understanding of architecture process

Responsibilities:
 

• Provides technical guidance or business process expertise to highly complicated projects
• Performs technology research, proof of concepts, and pilots
• Identifies problem causes and implement solutions in multifunctional projects
• Assesses and communicate technology impacts on the business
• Provides technical expertise and consultation in analysis, design, and development of business applications
• Integrate activities across IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts
• Performs software evaluations and make recommendations to management
• Collects and analyzes business requirements for large, multifunctional projects
• Performs feasibility studies and translates requirements into appropriate design
• Identifies conflicting business practices and integration issues and suggest alternative solutions
• Creates architecture views and models to describe solutions
