Hiring: Appian Developer 
Dallas, TX

Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify problems and provide application development/maintenance solutions for line-of-business applications.
- Independently and with agency staff, test and implement approved solutions.
- Work with vendor support to troubleshoot problems and facilitate upgrades.
- Provide primary application support for system and application component upgrades.
- Support modernization transition, preferably with experience in legacy Oracle environments and legacy code for government systems.
- Combination of roles will be considered; agency prefers a mix of Appian and Legacy application development experience.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in developing software solutions, studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigating problem areas and preparing and installing solutions by determining and designing system specifications.
- 5 years of Appian development experience.

Preferred Experience:
- 10 years of experience with legacy applications.
- 10 years of experience transforming/modernizing legacy environments.
- 5 years of hashtag#Agile Development experience.

Appian experience will be considered a multiplier for years of experience and is highly preferred. Education will also be considered as a substitute for years of experience.
