Willow Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy Implementation

Implements and supports the application and data integration managed by Information Services (IS). Provides application and technical support for the product line in addition to providing triage and troubleshooting to the product clients. Monitors systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity while escalating issues and problems. Provides system analysis, design, development, documentation, and configuration as well as testing and training of the product. Lastly, Ensures that applications are optimally planned, documented, validated, adhere to standards, and maintained.   •  JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:IMPLEMENTATION.• Partner with business and clinical operations to obtain and create workflow documentation of current application use on implementation and upgrades.• Provide advanced analysis of systems compatibility and configure in accordance with operation and technical requirements in alignment with all current specifications.• Collaborate with members of IS teams, project teams, affiliate teams, and vendor representatives to assist with the development of specifications for assigned areas.• Work with counterparts from related project teams to incorporate their design and test scripts into integrated project plan that includes integrated testing scripts.• Partner with various levels of management and staff including business, clinical, and IS departments while assisting with technical aspects of product implementation, rollout, and support as needed/required.APPLICATION CONFIGURATION & SUPPORT.• Obtain and document software design change and enhancement specifications.• Participate in the installation and configuration of applications.• Analyze new requirements and enhancements to existing applications while preparing specifications and documentation.• Assess the feasibility of proposed new product features and integration with standard applications.• Provide advanced data analysis, design basic specifications and documentations as well as analyze advanced problems and suggest potential solutions after validating with current application functionalities.INTERFACE VALIDATION.• Verify developed solutions through testing.• Ensure that all interfaces are validated according to appropriate departmental standards prior to implementation by completing all required testing.• Develop test scripts to ensure superior validation.• Verify designed and developed solutions through testing.• Ensure that all approved changes are validated according to appropriate departmental standards prior to implementation by completing all required testing.• Develop test scripts to ensure superior validation.APPLICATION MAINTENANCE.• Implement changes to production applications and making configuration changes to assigned areas.• Partner with clients to identify and resolve advanced problems and follow through to ensure a final resolution.• Review and manage various system log files, error reports, alert audit logs, and security access logs as assigned.• Maintain assigned tables and profiles.• Write new and update existing test scripts for all phases of testing within assigned areas as well as test changes and configurations using established testing scripts and procedures.• Develops and maintains a working knowledge of the application(s) design and use; continues to increaseknowledge as the product functionality is changed or enhanced.• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.• Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
  •  EDUCATION:Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.Associate's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent education/experience
  •  TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:1 year recent relevant experience.
  •  SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Working knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies.Proficient knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.Proficient knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structure.Intermediate understanding of downstream applications and core systems integration.Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts
