Application Developer

Summary

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Python and Apache Spark. Your typical day will involve working with PySpark, performing data analysis and munging to extract insights and patterns from large data sets.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements using Python and Apache Spark.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications and systems, including on-call support as needed.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language), Apache Spark, PySpark.
Strong understanding of data analysis and munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity.
Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.

Additional Information

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Python (Programming Language) and Apache Spark.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
