Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

Develop domain knowledge and business process understanding

Work with product owner and stakeholders to elicit business requirements and refine into actionable plans

Design systems that meet customer needs and align to architecture guardrails

Deploy and support business applications

Configure and integrate vendor-sourced enterprise software with other internal systems

Iterate systems with enhancements and bug fixes

Actively participate in an integrated DevOps Team utilizing Agile methodologies with a strong change management focus

Provide daily operational support for multiple applications by troubleshooting incidents, identifying root causes and solutions, resolving problems, designing, and implementing configuration changes, and monitoring performance

Communicate proactively and respond quickly to production issues and project work with a strong customer focus

Required Qualifications: 

2+ years of industry-relevant experience

Motivated, flexible, self-directed, works productively with minimal supervision, and a high degree of ownership

Strong communication (written/verbal) and facilitation skills with solid ability to convey business and technical information to a diverse audience Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Knowledge of, and experience in technology standards and controls that lead to the planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations of applications in a secure fashion (DevSecOps)
