Application Engineer

Description

The Judge Group is currently seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with experience working on construction or civil engineering projects in the Omaha, NE area.

COMPENSATION: 85k-90k (Plus bonus)

WORKSITE: Onsite (No remote)

MUST HAVE: AS or BS in engineering or related degree

MUST HAVE: 3+ years working with networking and automation system designs

MUST HAVE: Experience with Solidworks, EPLAN, and AutoCAD / DraftSight etc or related products

MUST HAVE: Experience reviewing customer applications and suggesting solutions

Responsibilities

 

• Work directly with clients and Sales to find solutions that meet customer requirements
• Reviews Automation system and network designs to specify control, energy, and data transmission solutions
• Prepares layouts, detailed drawings and schematics (Solidworks, AutoCAD – DraftSight, EPLAN)
• Reviews application challenges
• Processes Engineering Change Orders
• Conduct design review meetings with all departments
• Provides engineering support to manufacturing teams
• Performs client site inspections
• Interpret regulatory codes (UL, NEC and NFPA)
  
   

Requirements

 

• AS or BS in engineering or related degree
• 3+ years working with networking and automation system designs
• Experience with Solidworks, EPLAN, and AutoCAD / DraftSight etc or related products
