Applications Architect

SKills:
 

• Java, JDK, OOP/OOA, JMS, WebLogic and J2EE 1yr plus.
• XML Schema and Eclipse at least 8 monts.

Qualifications:
 

• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE
• Experience of Weblogic, Weblogic Portal and development
• Experience of Web technology and standards such as Web Portal, MVC and JavaScript
• Experience with Web Services design and development (both consumer and provider)
• Experience in mobile application development is plus
• Knowledge of Web and web service security such as SAML, SiteMinder, 2-way SSL, HTTP Basic Auth, WSSE
• Knowledge of application development SDLC, processes, and tools
• Knowledge of Web service and standards such as XSD Schema, SOAP, WSDL, XML, SOAP UI, curl
• Understanding of the Middleware platforms such as Weblogic or equivalent and Application Deployment/Migration Lifecycle Strategy
• Ability to infer system requirements from business requirements
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to interact with diverse groups

Responsibilities:
 

• Provides technical guidance or business process expertise to highly complicated projects. Performs technology research, proof of concepts, and pilots.
• Identifies problem causes and implement solutions in multifunctional projects. Assesses and communicate technology impacts on the business.
• Provides technical expertise and consultation in analysis, design, and development of business
• applications Integrate activities across IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
• Performs software evaluations and make recommendations to management. Collects and analyzes business requirements for large, multifunctional projects. Performs feasibility studies and translates requirements into appropriate design.
• Identifies conflicting business practices and integration issues and suggest alternative solutions. Creates architecture views and models to describe solutions.
