The Design and Applications Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new and existing products and applications. This includes working with customers to understand their needs, developing technical specifications, and designing and testing new products. The Design and Applications Engineer also works with the manufacturing team to ensure that products are manufactured to meet specifications.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

 

• Work with customers to understand their needs and develop technical specifications for new and existing products and applications.
• Design and test new products and applications using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure that products are manufactured to meet specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers and sales staff.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest engineering technologies and trends.
  
   

Qualifications And Requirements

 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Project Management experience a plus
• Proficient in Outlook, 2D CAD and 3D Solid Modeling, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in different time spans – some longer-term projects mixed with shorter term assignments.
• Practical problem solver. Able to grasp the essence of a situation and resolve issues quickly.
