Job Description:
The preferred candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in Oracle Databases, Unix systems, and Windows Server support. Experience in supporting Accounting Systems (preferably Eagle Investment Systems) and associated workflows, such as Trade Processing, Fund Accounting, and Reference Data Management. Ability to work under stressful situations. Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting technologies, such as Moogsoft, App Dynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, among others. Provide Incident Management and Problem Management functions as it relates to issues tied to the Accounting application.
Role:
Provides application technical support in complex situations as well as partners with Development teams for coordination of team / project work.
Monitors real time transactional data monitoring within the Accounting applications.
Provides incident management and problem management service for production related incidents.
Lead troubleshooting during production outages and communicates to management throughout the incident lifecycle.
Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating stability efforts with Development and the program team.
Leverage existing products/functionality and promote reuse.
Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Collaborate closely with all the other members of the team to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
Utilize local meetups to gain and share knowledge.
