Description

Responsibilities:
• Provide Engineering applications & process related end user support to internal engineering user base.
• Engage with end users to understand the requirement/use case/issue, troubleshoot, and provide resolution.
• Process and implement critical change requests for various engineering applications under change management procedure.
• Communicate and collaborate with peers, IT, and stakeholders globally as required.
• Document and update various support related knowledge base articles.
• Identify area of improvement in engineering applications support.
• Proactively monitor performance across engineering applications related alerts and take actions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with equivalent work experience in software engineering applications and systems environment.
• 3 to 5 years of application/tools support to end users experience is a must.
• 3+ years of strong experience in Jira and Confluence administration.
• Familiar with source code version control systems like Git/GitHub/Gerrit.
• Experience supporting and administering applications within the software development cycle.
• Familiar with various operating systems including Windows Server, Linux variants and UNIX.
• Self-starter, self- motivated, and self-managed on day-to-day tasks.
• Strong Ideal Team Player attributes.
• Ability to quickly learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written, oral and presentation skills in English.
• Strong customer service communication.

Education

Any graduate
