Job Requirements

 

  • Maintain and modify existing software using RPG and CL.
  • Working knowledge of RPGII & RPGIII.
  • Implement new software systems using the appropriate programming language.
  • Analyze requests for programming, write functional and technical specifications to accommodate requested needs, and make necessary changes to program code to accomplish desired results
  • Thoroughly test all program changes
  • Provide technical assistance to end users
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
  • Proficient in reading/writing RPG and CL code
  • Ability to analyze existing code to determine if existing code has flaws which are producing undesirable results
  • Ability to work independently utilizing sound judgement with minimal supervision
