Job Description:

As a Level 1 Trainee Cloud/System Engineer, associate is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for our IT systems. Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network components, as well as assisting end-users with technical issues.

Role:

1.Help Desk Support:

Provide first-line technical support to end-users via support tracking tool.
Respond promptly to user inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Document all support interactions, including the nature of the problem and the resolution, in the ticketing system.
2.Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, including updates, patches, and system optimizations.
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components as needed.
Conduct regular checks to ensure the proper functioning of computer systems.
3.User Account Management:

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Assist in user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and data backup.
4.Network Support:

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and address any anomalies or disruptions.
5.Security Compliance:

Enforce security protocols and best practices to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of data.
Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures, including antivirus software and firewalls.
6.Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Contribute to the knowledge base to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
7.Collaboration:

Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to resolve complex issues and improve overall system performance.
Provide input on system upgrades and enhancements.

Desktop and Laptop, provisioning, and administration

Provide education and training for users.
2.Windows Server Administration

Understanding of Active Directory, DHCP and DNS
3.Office 365, and related system administration

Office 365 administration
SharePoint Administration
Exchange Administration
Problem diagnosis, investigation, and resolution.
4.Basics of Network Administration

5.Facility Management

Tasks that need physical attention
Physical Security
Procurement and shipping of inventory
Must Have Skill

Any non-Engineering graduate with up to 2 years of relevant experience
Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking principles.
Expect in Windows server Administration, Office 365 administration, AD and UAM
Exposure on Networking
Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have

Knowledge in any scripting language
Relevant certifications are a plus.
