The Human Factors / Usability Engineering technician is responsible for supporting activities related to human factors. This person will work with Amgen’s New Product Introduction (NPI), packaging and labeling teams, as well as internal Human Factors Engineering (HFE) colleagues to create study stimuli, perform data verification and support other human factors activity as necessary. Study stimuli typically includes carton and carton labeling, delivery device and device labeling, as well as user instructional materials. This person will work with HFE and engineering leads to ensure these materials are created and sent to study sites in a timely manner. Following completion of a study, this person will receive the used and/or new materials and disposition for disposal or archiving, as needed. Additional responsibilities will be to maintain the Human Factors lab and all support materials and technology for the Human Factors group.

Bachelor degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
