Associate Project Engineer

You will be working as Associate Project Engineer and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for acting as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Supporting PM for finalization of the project schedule and assist for customer review meetings
  • Ensuring document submission to customer as per agreed Document Control Index
  • Responsible for ensuring quality of engineering deliverables to PM, SCM and the customer
  • Coordinating with vendor and interact with customer or consultant for seeking engineering approvals
  • Supporting SCM and PM for procurement related engineering and for cost optimization
  • Submitting the drawings and documents required for carrying out site erection

 

Your background

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Require 1 to 3 years of experience in design, engineering and commissioning of PMS ,EMS, ECS, CILMS
  • Experience in ABB 800xA based PPM, PMS - design, engineering and commissioning
  • A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
