Associate Project Engineer

You will be working as Associate Project Engineer and will be part of Process Automation business for division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for pre-commissioning protocols, commissioning protocols, commissioning check lists, safety checklists, load trial data, critical commissioning data, commissioning documents like no-load trial graphs, load trial graphs, parameter backup, software backup maintenance related document preparation.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Collaborating with concerned engineers and managers for smooth execution of projects
  • Preparing and reviewing of basic engineering drawings like single line diagram, dimensional drawings, fabrication drawings etc
  • Sizing or cross verification of the low voltage drives / motors as per application requirement
  • Preparing of commissioning reports, warranty report of failed items
  • Tracking of warranty reports and replacements and pending point closure
  • Capturing customer complaints post commissioning and providing timely solution

 

Your background

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a reputed university with first class in electrical / electrical and electronics engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in drives solutions by similar suppliers
  • Experience of commissioning/ trouble shooting/ servicing drive systems preferably in/for metal industry and industrial cranes
  • Knowledge of IT/ Network/ Peripherals like UPS, Printer, PC’s, Server components of DCS
  • knowledge in application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC/ DCS systems
  • Knowledge on different communication protocols used between PLC and drives or in automation
