Seeking a full stack developer with Atlassian experience to configure, manage, and enhance Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket tools. Experience with native functionality as well as researching, testing, and implementing plugins is required. Knowledge of GitLab would be beneficial.

Job Description

We are looking for a full stack developer with a focus on Atlassian toolset to join our team. The role involves configuration management, enhancement of Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, and potentially working with GitLab. The developer will be involved in the entire process from requirement gathering to solution implementation, offering ample opportunities for critical thinking and problem-solving.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to collect requirements and develop solutions.
• Research, test, and implement plugins and scripts for Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Develop interfaces between external tools and the Jira/Confluence infrastructure.
• Manage and customize Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
• Document requirements, solutions, and create user and support guides.
• Develop specifications and test plans for new features or modifications.
• Act as a communication link between users and technical groups.
• Provide ongoing user support, including issue troubleshooting and resolution.
• Handle additional related duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Programming experience with a willingness to learn.
• Understanding of the software development cycle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with query languages (SQL or equivalent, JQL is a bonus).
• Understanding of Single Sign-On protocols like SAML, SAML2.
• Familiarity with Git and branching models or other version control systems.
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6-8 years of job-related experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Groovy, Python, JavaScript, and Bash scripting. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with Atlassian Tools setup and support (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Ability to automate and enhance Jira/Confluence functionality, including scripting.
• Experience in developing custom plugins using Java for Jira 7.x+ and Confluence 6.x+.
• Proficiency in using/extending REST API.
