JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

 

 

  • Checking all conference rooms on a regular basis
    • Test all aspects of rooms equipment
      • Hardware power status confirmation
      • Battery levels on items like remotes
      • Confirm correct functionality of all audio and video features
      • Troubleshooting technical issues
      • Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues
    • Ensure rooms are in good looking order
      • Work with facilities to remedy any physical needs of the space
  • Utilize monitoring solutions to quickly identify and respond to issues
  • Assist users with immediate room issue or needs
    • Troubleshoot active problems in person
    • Work with vendors as needed to resolve issues
  • AV Training
    • Hold regular training sessions with the site
      • Usage of the equipment
      • Best practices
      • General AV support questions
  • Track and respond to ServiceNow work request
  • Work with the greater AV group on implementing changes to the AV environment at your local site
  • Point person for all AV needs your site has
  • Special Projects; work with other team members or manager on AV oriented projects

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong customer service oriented skills
  • Passion for working with end users
  • Excellent speaking skills
  • Great organization skills
  • Exceptional in high pressure situation
  • AV experience specific to conference rooms of all types
    • TV and Projectors, microphones and speakers, VC equipment, automation and integration equipment (Crestron)
    • Cisco and MTR devices
  • Basic PC troubleshooting skills in a corporate environment
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work primarily independently, as well as with a group on larger team projects and issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid working knowledge of the following:
    • Microsoft Office products: Word, Outlook, Teams
    • Monitoring software a plus (Microsoft Pro Portal, Cisco, Logitech Portal)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams
  • Working knowledge of Zoom meetings
  • Knowledge of AV in large environments
  • Knowledge of Webcams, headsets, and speaker/puck audio

Dedicated AV experience or primary function
