Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Playwright and TypeScript, with a strong preference for candidates who also possess knowledge of the telecom/cable industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and issues. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability. Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues. Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and emerging technologies. Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills : Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role. Strong proficiency in manual testing, test case design, and execution. Solid experience in automated testing using Playwright and TypeScript. Knowledge of telecom/cable industry processes and systems is a plus. Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Nice to Have: Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB). Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of testing in Agile/Scrum development environments. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
