Automation Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Temporary Automation Engineer to provide vital support to our automation team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and experience with Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. This temporary position will contribute to the efficient operation and maintenance of our automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the automation team to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems

Assist in the development of automation-related procedures and documentation

Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving automation-related issues

Support ongoing automation projects and assist in the integration of new automation systems

Participate in routine system monitoring and data collection activities

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all automation activities.

Collaborate with the team to evaluate and recommend improvements in automation processes

Provide support and guidance to junior technicians and colleagues as needed
Qualifications:.

Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

Strong expertise in Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems

Proven experience in automation maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration

Familiarity with industry-standard safety and quality regulations

Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
