As a shift automation engineer the following are expected to form the overall job description: 
Work on Incident management, Service request management, Problem management and Change management areas. 
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, presentation and computer skills. Works in a team based environment and exchanges technical information with management, technical support personnel, and equipment vendors. 
Execute IQ, OQ for Control Systems Development and Enhancements 
Develop system validation documentation and ensure system validation compliance. 
Manage and update system documentation including SOPs. 
Create and manage application-specific knowledge management. 
Programming of various Control Systems applications and HMIs 

Roles & Responsibilities: 
Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA and related software. 
Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders. 
Develop technical documents, including design specification, user manuals, and operational procedures. 
Develop and implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems. 
Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems. 
Participate in project management and project coordination. 
Monitor and analyze system performance. 
Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards. 
Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems. 
Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies. 

Education Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field 

Experience: 
Minimum of 3 years relevant automation life science manufacturing experience
