Automation Engineer with Strong Python

Position Criteria:

Remote ok or onsite if any local to Reston Office for Hybrid 1x per week.
Temp to perm - but hiring freeze so contract could be longer than 6 months (NO H1)

Skills: Python, PyTest, Gitlab, AWS, strong SQL, CI/CD, AWS Redshift, AWS S3, Agile - preferably while working in a financial firm

SDET – Python, PyTest, any BDD test framework including PyUnit
SW testing, front and back end – automation skills, Python programming, AWS Services programming, strong SQL, lots of data interaction
Financial is beneficial – 6 – 7 years (mid) – junior need too much training – need to augment team with person who can help train others
CI/CD Automation required – Automated performance and automated deployment – CI/CD
Has seen candidates with manual testing then moved into test automation – that’s ideal match
JIRA for tracking work and interacting team
AWS – Redshift, Lambda, CloudWatch, Batch and Batch File Docker
Cucumber and Selenium used for Automation- Batch Test Automation
