Automation Test Engineer

Responsible for Development of electrical test sequences within PRODIS Automation environment based on Java scripting platform

Manage/Update the Electrical test system (UPS) for the inclusion of the listed features and release the Tool to production

Analyze the vehicle feature changes required to be implemented into Electrical test system and the impacted modules/ECUs by the change

Analyze the impact of changes to which target vehicles platform, number of affected vehicles for the test, whether affected to multiple product lines, other statistics data etc

Check out the change requests in Jira Software and Check whether all Diagnostic requirements for affected changes are available and specified

Understand the changes required to be implemented into Electrical Test System UPS as per vehicle feature sets updates

Prepare Test plan detailing the test sequence, Diagnostic services, I/O and Self test routines, Timeouts, Test Pass Criteria

Authoring of test sequences and diagnostic data into software as per the test plan and authoring guidelines

Debugging of implemented code and the underlying interfaces for verification of developed test sequence prior to test release

Validation of updated UPS test releases on Test rig before releasing to the production

Validation includes Testing of HMI and Visual Interfaces, Testing of test sequences, regression testing, Testing of vehicle reports generation tool

Good understanding of functionalities mentioned in the RFQ will be advantage

Prior experience with Java programming language, PRODIS Automation environment with development and validation of tests would be preferred
