Senior Test Automation Engineer - 6-Month Contract

Location: Houston, TX 77041

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for executing existing test automation as well as creating new test cases using Ranorex Test Automation Studio. In addition, you will collaborate with the team to improve the quality of our software products and contribute to the long-term test automation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

 

• Utilize Ranorex Test Automation Studio to execute existing test cases and create additional automated test cases.
• Update and re-record test cases to resolve any execution errors.
• Perform manual test execution and accurately document test results using test automation architecture.
• Support and build the long-term test automation infrastructure, with a focus on Hardware in Loop test integration.
• Collaborate with Test Managers and R&D Managers to define testability requirements.
• Analyze test requirements to define automation test scenarios and test cases.
• Verify requirements to ensure completeness and conformity to standards.
• Analyze feedback from team members to improve software product quality.
• Experience with source code management tools like Mercurial and Azure Repository is a plus.
• Familiarity with creating Azure Pipelines for Build Management and VM Testing is advantageous.
  
   

Qualifications

 

• Extensive experience with Ranorex Test Automation Studio and other automation tools such as Power Automate, Winnapp driver, and SikuliX.
• Solid understanding of DevOps CI/CD and basic theoretical background in test automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently in a target-oriented manner, while also contributing to team goals.
• Prior experience with Hardware in Loop test integration is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
