We are looking for an experienced  Automation Tester with the below skill set.

Location: Chennai

Job Title: Automation Tester

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with 6+ years of experience in Java Selenium and knowledge of other testing tools, reporting and Agile methodology. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to identify and create test cases and scenarios for automation testing
• Design and develop automated scripts using Java and Selenium to execute test cases and scenarios
• Perform manual testing when necessary
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and to identify and resolve defects
• Analyze test results and report defects to the development team
• Create and maintain test documentation and test reports
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint demos
• Continuously improve the automation test framework to optimize test coverage and increase test efficiency

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in automation testing with Java and Selenium
• Strong knowledge of other testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Jira
• Knowledge of testing RESTful APIs, SQL, and web services
• Experience in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Familiarity with BDD and TDD practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
