Autosys Operations Engineer

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in at least 2 databases: Ab Initio, Teradata, Hadoop, or Oracle
3+ years of experience in AUTOSYS job scheduling and management
3+ years of experience in Unix shell scripting

Responsibilities

Incident Management: Lead or triage major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Problem Management: Identify root causes of problems and implement preventative actions to avoid recurrence.
Application Health: Monitor application health, proactively addressing alerts and failures.
Batch & Feed Management: Oversee batch job execution and data feed processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot failures, providing effective solutions.
Disaster Recovery: Support disaster recovery exercises and implement measures to reduce recovery time.
Operational Excellence: Identify and address troublesome trends to maintain operational stability.
Risk & Control: Manage daily operational risks and controls, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and work standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
