Avionics Certification Support Engieer

"Must-Have • Excellent understanding of DO-178/DO-254.
• Hands on experience in auditing (SOI audits) avionics projects as per DO-178/DO-254 objectives
• Have experience of firmware requirement and design analysis, of writing and of acting as a quality reviewer of Hardware life cycle plans, standards and checklists, requirements, designs, code, test cases and procedures
• Have working experience in Hardware quality assurance and Hardware configuration management, or experience with airworthiness authorities' liaison.
• Have very good oral and writing skills in English.
Good-to-Have • Aviation engineer or any other relevant education or background in commercial aviation
• Auditing experience (quality, airworthiness, operations, etc.) 


SN Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role 
1 Review System supplier's Software/ Airborne Electronic Hardware life-cycle data as per DO-178/DO-254
2 Review Input Quality Gate file
3 Produce comments spreadsheets capturing results of the reviews and send it to customer focal for approval before release to System supplier
4 Fill the SOI-x Review Output Quality Gate file and get it approved from customer
5 Perform Data assessment of the artefacts not only limited to quality/process assurance, but also from Auditor's perspective and it should cover all the aspects of DO-178/DO-254
6 Should be able to work on various projects simultaneously, and have project organization skills
7 Good Experience in certification liaison process" Montreal, QC
