Avionics test system engineer

Job Description:-

Mandatory qualifications/ experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline

• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant work experience

• Strong software background: o Proficiency with modern software development best practices and configuration management tools o LabWindows CVI or similar experience o Experience in Python and one of the following programming languages: ADA / C / C++ / C# / .NET

• Experience in requirements development including but not limited to stakeholder analysis, decomposition of systems level requirements into hardware and software sub-systems

• Experience in requirements verification and validation and developing verification criteria and procedures for the requirements

• Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options and develop solutions

• Ability to collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions • Enjoy learning new technologies

• Self-motivated to contribute to a positive work environment

• Fluent English language skills Desired qualifications/ experience:

• Wind River VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity and/or other real time operating system experience

Knowledge of the standards of the aviation industry

• Open standards relating to operating systems and networking (e.g. ARINC 653, ARINC 429, ARINC 818, MIL-1553, POSIX, TCP/IP) familiarity

• Experience in test automation • Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Project management/project engineering experience

• Experience with optics • Experience with test equipment

• Good communication and influencing skills

• Good organization skills
