AWS Architect

Specific responsibilities include:

Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud environments for the organization.
Understanding business objectives of the company and creating cloud-based solutions to facilitate business objectives.
Creating a roadmap for the AWS cloud journey.
Keeping cloud environments secure and preventing downtime or security breaches.
Designing, building, maintaining internal cloud applications for the organization.
Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals.
Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
Experience in the migration of on-prem applications to cloud native.
Design and development of security guardrails with AWS native technologies.
Communicate with stakeholders and build applications to meet project needs.
Design, develop, and maintain systems, processes, procedures to deliver a high-quality service design.
Cloud strategy and implementation.
Work with network architects and developers to help bolster security tools and protocols to prevent unauthorized access to business-critical data.
Provide technical expertise and guidance.
Experience in design and development of AWS native call center technologies.
Infrastructure Automation experience with AWS cloud formation templates.

Job Requirements

Has 15 years of experience in architecting infrastructure and security solutions and minimum of 5 years of Cloud Architect experience (preferably in AWS)
Has experience in Networking, Data Storage Fundamentals, Security Foundations, Cloud-specific Patterns
Has strong capabilities in architecting solutions on leading cloud platforms (AWS specifically) and is able to manage a Hybrid/ multi-cloud landscape
Demonstrates a hands-on knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, PaaS architectures and is able to determine the right approach and services to be leveraged in cloud platform
Has experience in managing and guiding Cloud Engineers to build infrastructure and security architecture
Clearly demonstrates experience in Security, Data Management, HA and scalable infra-architecture, DR, IAM etc.
Has strong experience in defining Security Policies, Access controls, SIEM tools
Has ability to define security controls and policies as part of DevOps viz. Secure Code review, vulnerability tests, Penetration Tests
Experience in corporate planning or strategic development.
Demonstrated knowledge of AWS Cloud network design and governance.
Multi Cloud Platform experience 
Experience in Infra as a Code, DevOps Pipeline setup and maintenance
Understanding and experience of AWS native service – IaaS, PaaS, Marketplace, from fitment, cost and configuration perspective
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Experience in system architecture may be advantageous.

Experience in working Hybrid Cloud environment.
Experience in setting up the foundation for cloud environment.
Evaluate new technologies that can be implemented.
Evaluates current and future solutions, applications, technologies and establish overall requirements and planning objectives. 
Plays a critical role in translating business strategy into technical strategy and defines end-to-end technology architectures that support the strategy.
Articulates desired future state, understand the current state, identify gaps between the two states, and develop approaches to close these gaps.
Experience with windows and Linux systems.
Experience in working AWS cloud systems is a plus.
Experience as Linux (RHEL) /Unix administrator is huge plus.
Understanding of or experience supporting .NET / Java applications.
Understanding of or experience with Programming languages like JavaScript, Python, Go, PowerShell, etc is plus.
Extensive Knowledge of Design Patterns for Software and Data Engineering.
Experience in on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure, including service and cost optimization.
AWS cloud certification is a plus.
