AWS Cloud Architect

Role Description

This is a contract role for an AWS Cloud Architect, located on-site in Charlotte, NC. As an AWS Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex AWS cloud infrastructures. You will lead the development team in creating scalable and secure cloud-based solutions, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance
Expertise in AWS architecture, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, and CloudFormation
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams
Experience in system administration and network engineering
Experience with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI DSS is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus
