AWS Cloud Engineer

100% Remote

12+ month Contract

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years hands-on AWS implementation experience across a broad range of AWS services in a enterprise scale environment
  • Must have in-depth AWS development experience (Containerization - Docker, Amazon EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3)
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting capability and the ability to develop AWS environments as code
  • Experience with core AWS platform architecture including Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnets, and Segmentation strategies.
  • Back and Disaster Recovery approach and design
  • 2+ years hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Ansible.
  • AWS Cost Management and Optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Possess an AWS Associate-level certification.  AWS Professional Certification preferred.
  • Team player and ability to work independently and interact with customers and engineering teams.
