AMI Build Mechanisms and tools ( Building client specific images on Windows, RHEL, SUSE

Managing the following at enterprise account level

Back-up

Data Retention policy implementation

• Configuration Management using tools like Chef and detailed explanation on the policies implemented across the estate, boot strapping process
• Roll out of OS patching
• Access Control through Federated roles, AD integration
• Networking – VPC setup & Peering, Direct Connect and subnets
• DR in cloud
• Cloud monitoring tools and Metrics (any custom metrics)
• Compliance reporting – Automation done for end user consumption (e.g OS patching, SG approvals)
• Extensive usage AWS cloud formation template : Creation and deployment remotely: Specific scenarios to be detailed

Required Skills:

 Automation

Scripting language used for Automation eg Python. Ruby, Shell

Detailed explanation on the automation done (eg. Library used)

Deployment pipeline : Deployment of changes thru CI/CD

OS knowledge on Windows and Linux (Trouble shooting scenario to be detailed)
