Job Description: AWS developer

The ideal candidate should have several years of experience as a developer, hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, Kinesis, and Terraform, and a strong understanding of server less architectures. Additionally, proficiency in Python, front-end experience, and experience with CI/CD pipeline and Git Actions are desirable. The consultant will join our Manufacturing Analytics product. This is to strengthen our capabilities towards our global manufacturing footprint and enable real time analytical capabilities for our plants worldwide.

As a user-focused and problem-solving individual, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You should have a passion for software development and continuously staying up-to-date with new technologies. You should be flexible, open to new ideas, and always seeking ways to improve. With a holistic viewpoint and strong belief in agile ways of working, you should have a successful track record of collaboration in global product teams. Domain experience from Manufacturing and/or the automotive industry, as well as experience with IBM technology like MQ and MessageBroker, knowledge of Kafka, and experience with TDD, will be considered a plus.

As an AWS developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the performance and scalability of our applications. You will also be expected to implement security best practices and disaster recovery measures.

Key Requirements

Extensive experience with AWS technologies such as Lambda, S3, EC2, Kinesis, and SQL. Hands-on experience with server less architecture and building applications using AWS services. In-depth knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code. Proficiency in Python and experience with other programming languages. Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them in an AWS environment. Demonstrated experience working with SQL databases and Kinesis streams. Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance, as well as Git Actions
