Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles, with a focus on ensuring the scalability and reliability of cloud infrastructures, primarily on Amazon Web Services .
  • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like cloud formation and Ansible.
  • Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, and GitHub Actions.
  • Programming experience and comfort with working in multiple languages as required (python, Bash , GO)
  • Familiarity with various tech stacks including Go, Node.js, PHP (WordPress), and Ruby.
  • Strong background in GNU/Linux and web technologies.
  • Knowledgeable about databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis, AWS SQS, and AWS Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra).
  • Proficient in understanding and utilizing Rest APIs and AWS Lambdas.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git and GitHub.
  • Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and resolution, and effectively communicating with development and QA teams to address and prevent issues.
  • Security and compliance management with centralized logging, threat analysis and remediation.
  • Experience participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Nice to have – AWS Certifications, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS or ECS.
  • Bonus skills – Familiar with vulnerability management (Qualys and Prisma Cloud).
