Job Description:

  • Architect and build highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure utilizing services like EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, EKS, RDS, etc.
  • Deep expertise in troubleshooting complex IaaS issues across various services (Networking, Storage, VMs, etc).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery plans for critical AWS resources.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks for AWS resources.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies for AWS expenses.
  • Configure access controls and IAM policies for secure access.
  • Share knowledge and expertise through mentorship and documentation.
  • Proficiency in advanced AWS CLI, SDKs, and scripting languages for extensive automation and custom solutions.
  • Develop and implement custom monitoring dashboards and scripts for proactive problem identification.
  • Analyze and optimize IaaS resource utilization for cost efficiency using AWS Cost Explorer and Reserved Instances.
  • Utilize performance monitoring tools like Amazon CloudWatch to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept projects and contribute to technical architecture discussions.
  • Automate routine tasks using AWS CLI, SDKs, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Manage and maintain documentation for AWS infrastructure and deployments.
  • Implement and manage security best practices and controls for AWS resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement an AWS cloud adoption roadmap.
  • Proactively identify and recommend new technologies and solutions for adoption.
  • Mentor and guide junior IaaS administrators and share technical expertise.
  • Actively participate in knowledge sharing initiatives within the IT team.
  • Contribute to the development of AWS best practices and documentation within the organization.
  • Collaborate with developers and other IT teams on cloud initiatives.
