AWS Quick Site Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Data Integration: 

Integrate data from various sources (AWS Datalake will be one of the key source) into AWS QuickSight, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. 

Collaborate with data engineers and administrators to establish and maintain data connections. 

Query Optimization: 

Optimize queries and data retrieval processes to ensure efficient performance and responsiveness of dashboards. 

Monitor and analyze query performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. 

Data Visualization Development: 

Design, develop, and implement interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight. 

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective visualizations. 

Security and Access Control: 

Implement and manage security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data within AWS QuickSight. 

Define and enforce access controls, ensuring that only authorized users have access to specific data and visualizations. 

Troubleshooting and Support: 

Provide technical support for AWS QuickSight users, addressing issues related to data connectivity, visualization design, and performance. 

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the development and deployment of dashboards. 

Collaboration: 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data  analysts, and business users, to understand their analytics needs and deliver solutions. 

Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into understandable insights. 

Documentation: 

Create and maintain documentation for data models, data sources, and dashboard development processes. 

Document best practices and guidelines for using AWS QuickSight within the organization. 

Continuous Improvement: 

Stay updated on the latest features and enhancements in AWS QuickSight. 

Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing dashboards and visualizations based on user feedback and changing business requirements. 

Training and Knowledge Sharing: 

Conduct training sessions for end-users on how to use and interpret data from AWS QuickSight. 

Share knowledge and best practices with other team members to enhance overall expertise within the organization. 

Performance Monitoring: 

Monitor the performance and usage of AWS QuickSight dashboards and take proactive measures to optimize and enhance performance as needed. 

Implement and maintain logging and monitoring systems for AWS QuickSight.
