AWS Solution Architect

Job Role: Solutions Architect

Job Location: Remote

As an AWS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and cost-effective AWS-based solutions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, and then translate those into robust cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Architect AWS Solutions: Design, develop, and implement AWS-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This includes selecting appropriate AWS services, defining architecture patterns, and ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

·         Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert guidance on AWS architecture and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.

·         Cost Optimization: Optimize AWS resources and costs, ensuring that solutions are both efficient and budget-friendly. Implement cost monitoring and alerting.

·         Security and Compliance: Ensure AWS solutions are designed with security best practices and compliance requirements in mind. Implement security controls and encryption mechanisms as needed.

·         Technical Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and best practices.

·         Troubleshooting and Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to AWS services.

·         Provide guidance and support during critical incidents.

·         Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices. Share knowledge and insights with the team and clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification.

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong background in AWS services and cloud architecture.

Deep understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and more.

Knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
