AWS Solution Architect

Job Description

•    The candidate must be able to undestand the on-premises architecture from application team and come up with migration path
•    Capture the requirement for new applications which are planned to be developed in AWS
•    Candidate must come up with AWS architecture along with forecasted infrastructure cost in AWS
•    Candidate need to interat with group cloud foundation team on regional needs 
•    Support management team on status, risks and blockers
•    For the development activities, need to do the estimation and timeline plan along with resource distribution
•    Infrastructure creation using Terraform
•    Taking care of non-functional requirements in design and implementation
•    Must be able to implement the DevOps governance and ensure that Team adheres to  it.
•    Optimization of infrastructure and cost during the development and post production deployment
•    The candidate is expected to maintain a healthy communication in planning and delivery phases with stakeholders like the Product owner, the IT Department and COTS vendors.
•    The candidate is expected to have rich expertise in the areas of Risk Analysis and Checking partial/final product
•    Communication with stakeholders to ensure no slippage in schedule
•    Work along with onsite/offshore/nearshore teams
The candidate is expected to maintain a healthy communication in planning and delivery phases with stakeholders like the Product owner and the IT Department.
•    Experienced in transforming application and operation teams to adopt DevOps and agile practices
•    Experienced in AWS
•    Experience with nearshore and offshore delivery centers
•    Influence customers to go with best-in-class design
•    Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders in business and IT (including developers) with proven capability of building and managing relationships
•    Fluent in English
•    Experienced in building and maintaining a DevOps platform at enterprise level with Atlassian
•    Experienced in transforming application and operation teams to adopt DevOps and agile practices
•    Experience in Agile Process
•    Experienced with container management solutions (e.g. Kubernetes)
•    Good in German.
