Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure in AWS.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency on prem and in AWS. E.g., Automate application of Windows server patches, software installation and updates (Python, .net)
- Provide operational support such as server monitoring, patching, and other duties as required.
Identify and resolve Windows performance issues both on prem and in AWS. Analyze and resolve customer technical issues affecting operations, escalating to other departments as needed.
Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Provide technical support to end-users
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Technical expertise with Windows server administration in cloud platforms such as AWS
Must be strong in Windows Server fundamentals (administration, including Active Directory (AD), DNS and Group Policy)
In-depth knowledge of Windows performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Strong scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell, .bat/.cmd scripts) with AWS CLI integration and automation
Experienced in Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) - for configuring and automating Windows services (e.g., for N number of SimCorp services)
Experienced in Windows Security – good understanding of Active-Directory, local and domain security groups, and their relationship with AWS security groups, different authentication mechanism for configuring jobs/services, etc.
Knowledgeable of networking, common protocols, mail routing and different mail authentication/protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

AWS certifications are a plus.
