Azure API Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Azure API Engineer to streamline API management processes within a to-be established Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing API management solutions, configuring API gateways, and establishing API policies for security and performance optimization. This role will also involve monitoring API usage to ensure efficient operation and identifying potential areas for improvement.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Design Azure APIs to pull/push data from and to existing digital products into the Azure ecosystem.
• Implement Azure APIs for the replacement solution.
• Set up Azure API management processes and policies for security, performance optimization, and monitoring API usage.
• Configure API gateways.
• Perform performance testing and propose continuous improvements.
• Provide knowledge transfer to ensure the team is equipped to maintain and support the API management solutions.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

• 5+ years of experience in Azure API management.
• Proven experience in designing API systems and management processes.
• Strong background in implementing API management solutions.
• Expertise in establishing API policies for security, performance optimization, and monitoring API usage.
• Experience with integrating APIs with legacy systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide knowledge transfer.
