Position: Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Belgium

Type: Hybrid (2-3 days in cthe client´s office)

Technical and Soft Skills:

As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will leverage your deep understanding of Azure services to architect, implement, and manage cloud-based applications and services. Your expertise will guide the optimization of our existing cloud systems and migration of on-premise workloads to Azure, ensuring seamless integration with business operations. You will also play a key role in implementing best practices in cloud security and compliance, providing mentorship to junior engineers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Azure Cloud Expertise:At least 4 years experience in Azure Cloud
• Security Knowledge: Experience with Cloud security practices
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for managing automated deployments.
• IaC Tools: Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code deployments.
• Programming Skills:Java
• Scriptings: Powershell Scripting
• Documentation: Ability to create detailed and comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions.
• Dutch AND French (B2 level minimum) (mandatory)
• Candidates must already reside in the European Union and possess an EU Passport/ Work Permit in a European Union country (mandatory).

Responsabilities:

• Support and enhance core cloud operations
• Contribute to diverse projects across the company’s cloud infrastructure
• Implement cloud security best practices
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)
• Innovate and suggest improvements for cloud operations
• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud environments and services.
• Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for Azure resources.
• Ensure best practices in cloud security and compliance by implementing necessary controls.
• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
