Roles and responsibilities
· Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET and Azure services. Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.
· Code Review and Testing: Conduct code reviews for system modifications and development. Implement unit and functional testing to ensure the quality of the code.
· Cloud Deployment: Deploy applications onto the Azure cloud platform and manage compute resources, storage, and other Azure services used by the applications.
· Integration: Integrate applications with other services using APIs. This could include both Azure services (like Azure Functions, Logic Apps) and third-party services.
· Performance Tuning: Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve performance and reliability.
· Security: Implement security best practices in application development and ensure compliance with security policies. This includes managing identities and access control using Azure Active Directory.
· DevOps Practices: Work with the DevOps team to automate deployment processes using Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools.
· Documentation: Document code, architecture, and procedures related to the development and maintenance of the applications.
· Stay Up to Date: Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in .NET and Azure development.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
· 5+ years of Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization.
· .Net developer with cloud experience need to have good knowledge on fixing Infrastructure/Security related services Azure Containers, Storage, Azure Monitoring, Security, App Insights and Log Analytics.
· Azure SQL, App Service, Logic Apps, azure functions, azure service bus, web jobs, terraform implementation, COSMOS, Docker, Azure Event Hub, Azure Batch, Azure App Services, AKS to check POD status depending on architecture, Azure AD & AD B2C etc.
· Azure cloud engineer need to have good knowledge in deployment/scaling using Terraform, CI/CD pipeline, implementing static and dynamic analysis check in CI/CD pipeline, Versioning of Code, Data protection, COSMOS Throttling, Nginx Configuration, Performance tuning using tools etc.
