Hi All, 

We have an immediate requirement on “Azure Database Engineer” @ 100% Remote.  

Role: Azure Database Engineer

Location: 100% remote

Duration: 12 months contract

Cloud Database Engineer:

Top 3 requirements:

1. TSQL - canned reports but needs to fully understand how to write queries
2. Azure cloud exp (needs 3 of the 5 listed below)

i.     Azure starburst

ii.     Azure SQL DB, MySQL, Postgres

iii.     Azure Data bricks

iv.     Azure Synapse

v.     Azure data lake

1. PowerShell

General: High degree of professional poise, presence, and personal integrity. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities. Take responsibility and demonstrate ownership of projects, tasks, and issues. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, organization skills, and analytical abilities. Ability to work with all levels of personnel. Ability to work under deadlines and heavy workloads with supervision. Must have strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills.  Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.  High level understanding of standard query language (SQL), extensive knowledge of Data storage and optimization concepts. Ability to identify system level bottlenecks in the data systems and recommend solutions.
