Your role will be pivotal in building a mission-critical analytics platform that encompasses predictive ML models, real-time analytics, and user-friendly dashboards.

 

As a Senior Backend Engineer, here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Build the foundation for cloud-native & multi-tenant AI platform for battery modelling & analytics.
  • Develop a real-time alerting system using modern streaming stack(Kafka, Spark/Flink).
  • Develop data transformation models for real-time ETL processes using Pandas & Polars
  • Design and Develop secure and scalable API using Flask with access control, and pagination.
  • Implement optimizations and enhancements to improve API performance, including reducing load times and minimizing resource consumption
  • Design and maintain database schemas for optimal data storage and retrieval
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of unit tests, integration tests, security tests, and end-to-end tests for the API
  • Deploy and configure infrastructure components such as databases, message queues, container runtimes, and API gateways in cloud environments to build scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud services
  • Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues promptly
  • Ensure faster release cycles using proper build, test, and deployment strategies

 

We are excited about you because you have:

  • Proven 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable APIs using frameworks such as Flask/Django with a focus on performance optimization
  • In-depth understanding of web security principles and best practices. Ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities in code and infrastructure
  • Experience in real-time data processing using efficient ETL approaches
  • Proficiency in implementing and maintaining a robust testing strategy
  • Experience with various DBs like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective data models
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure deployment and building monitoring framework in AWS, GCP
  • Experience in CI-CD deployment
  • Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Familiarity with tools and methodologies for code analysis and profiling
