Job Summary:
We are searching for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology. In this role, you will reimagine the creation of magical viewing experiences and play a pivotal part in transforming Disney's media business by evolving streaming and digital products, powering advertising, and maximizing distribution efficiency. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative products and techniques that redefine industry standards and enhance how audiences experience sports, entertainment, and news.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product and Business teams to understand and implement user flows for sign-up, switch, cancellation, and account management.
  • Work closely with the Product team to translate requirements into detailed technical implementations.
  • Create and maintain a future-proof presentation API for commerce experiences.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions to share expertise within the team.
  • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring system health through defined technical and operational metrics.

Must Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in server-side development and strong programming skills, particularly in TypeScript or similar languages.
  • Deep understanding of the Node.js ecosystem.
  • Experience in designing APIs and strong architectural skills.
