Backend Developer (Oracle PL/SQL)

We are looking for a backend developer who can join us immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Development, and optimization of intricate PL/SQL procedures and functions, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to other developers, aiding them in problem-solving and skill enhancement.

• Collaborate closely with business analysts, software engineers, and QA teams to comprehend requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.

• Perform thorough code reviews to guarantee code quality, adherence to best practices, and alignment with coding standards.

• Analyse query execution plans, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement database tuning techniques to enhance overall system performance.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within the database development life cycle.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in PL/SQL and database technologies and share insights with the team.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience : 6+ years of proven experience in PL SQL development, with a focus on creating complex procedures and functions.

Skills:

• Strong expertise in database design principles, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members.

• Proficiency in .Net Core API development is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with source control versioning systems (e.g., Git) and their integration into the development workflow.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with effective communication skills.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Relevant certifications, such as Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional, are desirable but not mandatory.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
