Essential Job Functions
Provides direct technical support in planning designing and implementing the solution for global Backup infrastructure

Without supervision, deploy, migrate and configure backup system

Develop detailed schematics relating to new installations and existing upgradation, migration or integration

Candidate should have strong experience in implementation, configuration, migration of Symantec netbackup server, media server and agents

Excellent knowledge of Symantec netbackup implementation, L3 support of Vmware /Windows/Linux Operating systems management and administration skills

Candidate should have basic or advance knowledge on EMC data domain and replication

Assist SAs & DBAs on various backup needs & strategies

Setup, configure and manage NetBackup server/client and tape libraries

Unix knowledge to manage NetBackup master servers
